Meet the Founder
Brandon Valery Johnson, known professionally as Visual Griot, is a Brooklyn-based artist, educator, muralist, and cultural programmer whose work uses art and storytelling to inspire creativity, cultural pride, and community engagement.
As founder of The KA Arts, Brandon has spent more than a decade developing arts programs, leading community projects, and creating transformative experiences for schools and organizations throughout New York City.
